Parisian Chique

When fashion month starts I always dream of seeing the new collections on the catwalk and the inspirational outfits that all the fashion bloggers are wearing. When I’m dreaming of their closets I can’t stop my shopping habbits. Sorry not sorry. So with great inspiration and my own style in the back of my mind I created this comfy but chique Parisian look. I found the most beautiful light colored shirt from My Sunday Morning  and combined it with my flared black trousers. You can find these flared trousers in every store and in every fabric. It’s a big must have in your closet and it can be worn with what ever you like!     I’m all in for the accessoires in this outfit, so let’s start with the cool fluffy red bag that you can find at Relish! Soo fluffy! I really love tiny jewelry so I recently got this cute gold necklace from Nimzu, a Belgian brand that makes handmade jewelry. Go check their website for even more prettiness. An other it-item …

Indian Summer

When the after Summer vibes were still going strong we enjoyed the Idian Summer to the fullest, with long walks in our pretty Antwerp and visits to our favorite chill spots. But the down side of this weather: what the hell do you need to wear? With cold breezes alternating with sunshine on your head, one moment it  feels cold and the next it’s warm. The result: 100% confusion. We decided to  make the best of it, so we picked outfits that are perfect for this complex weather.     Every closet needs a good denim jacket, so our eyes were caught by these absolutely stunning jackets from Monikmo. What we both really liked was the perfect lenght of the jacket. But the coolest thing about these jackets is the wow-factor on the back! Every jacket has it’s own,  unique design of hand sewn  beads and pearls in beautiful, bright colors. It’s a cool and creative varation on the jeans jackets decorated with patches. Michelle combined her jacket with a grey turtleneck from My Sunday Morning. To …

Floral Wrap

I have a big love for gigantic skirts, they can be matched with everything and still look fab. You can keep it simple and wear a plain tshirt, shirt or crop top. Or you can find a perfect top to create print-on-print action. To give the entire outfit a color boost I wore my blue heels from Primark and my favorite Shellbag! For me this is the perfect outfit for a date night or a little stroll in the city.     I got my Floral wrap skirt from Asos, which is becoming my Visa card’s second home. I can spend hours on Asos searching for cool pieces and this skirt ofcourse needed to be in my closet. Since last year was the “hotline bling”- year, I got this shiny Skinnydip Shellbag for my birthday from my best friends. These days you can call me on my Shellphone… You can never have to much white shirts in your closet, this one’s from Subdued. Thanks to & Other Stories I now got a new pair of …

Socks in Sandals

The warm weather days are almost behind us. That means I can finally start to experiment with my fall outfits. One thing I can’t part with yet are my Teva Sandals. The perfect way to transition them from summer to fall is to wear socks in them. For many people this may be a fashion faux pas, but I can’t help but love it! For this outfit I chose to wear bright colored socks that match my vintage style shirt. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit a bit more classy so the focus stays on the socks and sandals. Do you dare to keep wearing your sandals during autumn?   Top & pants –  Zara // Socks – Uniqlo // Sandals – Teva // Glasses – Polette  // Clutch – Vintage. Pictures by Michelle Serdons

#MODEinOOSTENDE Recap

It’s always cool to discover new hotspots in your own country, so we were really excited when we got invited by Belmodo and Visit Oostende for #MODEinOOSTENDE. #MODEinOOSTENDE is the perfect weekend to find out more about the boutiques and stores that this beach town has to offer. The participating shops showed off their best selection of brands and cool store interior while serving chilled drinks.  We started our weekend with a yummy lunch at Passe-Vite, it’s a small but cozy place with two very kind ladies at your service. We both took a salade which was freshly made with a lot of care and love. It was a definite must-go in Ostend!     With a map filled with stores to discover we started our shopping stroll throughout Ostend. We really loved the Vitrine Lulu Store , a tiny boutique with the coolest selection of Belgian-  and international designer pieces for women. ( Tim Van Steenbergen, Annemie Verbeke, Jil Sander Navy, Vivienne Westwood, Fuzzi, Jean Paul Gaultier, Maison Margiela MM6.) We both adored a perfect …

Blue Parrot

For me summer vacation equals hot weather, beachin’ and relaxing to the fullest. This year I visited Albufeira, Portugal. Weeks before the adventure I started packing and picked out outfits to survive the hot weather. When I’m on vacay I really need clothes that are comfy and still look great! I love this white dress from Zara. It’s the perfect length for me, not too short, not too long and it can be worn at every occasion. To give my white outfit a boost I put on my colorful Rarámuri Sandals.     ” There is a Rarámuri spirit in all of us.” A few weeks ago I got in touch with Edel Van Riet, the founder of Rarámuri Sandals. He told me the story behind these beautiful sandals and I really wanted to share this story you guys too. Edel Van Riet is a teacher and a big adventurer. When he was hiking through the mountains in Mexico he ended at an Indian tribe, he was immediatly fascinated by the people and their creativity. …

Goldfetch x Polette

As most of you already know we both wear glasses frequently. Not only as a fashion statement but also because our sight (sadly) isn’t that good. Therefore we couldn’t be more happy then when we got the opportunity to do a collaboration with Polette. Polette is an international online optician, founded in France and also the French market leader. They offer hundreds of design frames for very affordable prices. These low prices are made possible because Polette is the only part between the factory and the costumer in the production process. This is of course without compromise on quality.     While we were hunting for the perfect pair of glasses on their website, we discovered the possibilities were endless. For each frame you can choose between optical glasses or a variety of colored glasses to turn your frame into sunglasses. We had a hard time deciding which frame to pick. But the fun part is: since the prices are so affordable (starting from EUR 9.99) you can easily order more than one frame and …

BLK

At Goldfetch we love to combine cool outfits with clean pictures. So after a little search our friend/photographer and I ended up in a mini art gallery which created the perfect balance between my sporty outfit and the minimal we love to represent. A lot of people know that my annual sweater fase starts around November and ends in April. So every year a lot of new sweaters end up in my closet. This one is my last new catch! I got it at Design Universe App I really love the fabric because of it’s thickness and good quality. It looks like a normal sweater but it’s all in the details with this one. The arms are finished off with a see through fabric which gives it an extra dimension.   What about the cap? Lately you can spot all kinds of different caps in a wide range of colors and i absolutely love it! I got this Adidas cap at Zalando and I wear it all the time. There are a few very positive points to having …

Basically, Camel

Spring is among us, well at least a little bit. I can’t seem to figure out what to wear these last couple of weeks because the weather is constantly changing. It’s the most annoying thing ever and not good for my wallet, bad weather = online shopping (oops)! What I love to wear is a casual chique outfit that can handle everything the weather gods bring us. Out of my big stash of sweaters I love wearing this River Island turtle neck the most, it’s not too thick and perfect to handle this in between weather. I matched it up with my favorite camel coat that makes this look more classy. Lately i’m super into dressed pants. So i got these striped pants from Design Universe Apparel, which is a online store with cool clothes and super fast delivery (a good tip for those who can’t stand waiting for their online pieces, yes I’m one of them). I paired my outfit with this new hat, which I also bought online at asos. I choose a camel colored hat that gave me a summer feeling …
